RF Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level RF Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients to understand their system testing and measurement needs, modify existing system designs to meet those needs, and ensure successful system implementation and functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to understand their requirements for antenna testing and measurement systems.
• Travel to client sites, which may range from a short drive to a domestic flight, to assess and discuss system needs.
• Modify existing system designs to align with client requirements and create customized solutions.
• Test and troubleshoot RF systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate with clients to confirm system completion and readiness.
• Work with Field Service Engineers to deliver and install the completed systems at client locations.

Essential Skills:

• Experience integrating and testing RF systems.
• Experience in the aerospace, defense, and/or aviation industries.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Familiarity with RF engineering and RF measurement system design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience designing RF measurement systems or RF antennas.
• Proficiency in proposals and client interactions.
• Knowledge of mechanical positioning systems.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, GRASP, HFSS, and other analytical tools.

Work Environment:

You will work within the aerospace and defense industry, focusing on the design and integration of RF systems. The role involves both office-based work and travel to client sites for system installation and troubleshooting. Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Torrance, California.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $165000.00/yr. Healthcare, dental, vision, etc.

Workplace Type:

This is a fully onsite position in Torrance, CA.
