Is responsible for performing and documenting therapeutic and/or diagnostic procedures listed in the Department Scope of Care. May have advanced responsibility for more complex critical care, cardiopulmonary rehab, pulmonary function/bronch, or NICU/anesthesia tech services. Recognizes and assists with appropriate actions in emergency situations. Provides customer service that meets the needs of all served. Contributes to the educational process for patients, cardiopulmonary staff and self. May act as a relief lead or charge RCP technologist.
Minimum Education Requirement:
Minimum Experience Requirement: Two years Respiratory Care Practitioner experience required. Excellent customer service skills.
Minimum License Requirement: CA RCP licensure. BLS, ACLS and PALS required. Advanced Provider NRP certification required within 60 days of hire. Registered Respiratory Therapist Credential preferred.
