As a CBRE Reliability Engineer, you will monitor, analyze, and resolve system and infrastructure problems of mission-critical operational systems. This role is for a subject matter expert (SME) in mechanical engineering, responsible for ensuring technical compliance with critical engineering standards and driving asset reliability. You'll provide specialized troubleshooting support, lead root cause analyses, and act as a key technical resource for capital projects and reliability programs. This position requires deep expertise to fill the critical gap in our team's technical knowledge and uphold operational excellence. This job is part of the engineering and technical services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Minimum of four (4) years experience as a reliability engineer or job-related experience. Technical and/or program management experience. Asset reliability and life cycle experience. Product data management (PDM) system experience. Systems, applications and products (data processing). Failure mode and effects & root cause analysis (FMEA).
Other skills and/or abilities:
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
