Quick Lane Service Technician

We are seeking a Quick Lane Service Technician to join our team. Along with the typical oil changes, our team will perform brake, tire, alignments, shock/strut, battery and overall fluids, filters and belt replacement services. Requirements

Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. Perform regular scheduled maintenance on all makes and models. Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs. Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers. Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology. Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Basic maintenance including but not limited to: tire rotations and tire replacement, brake inspection, fluid top off, lubrication services, batteries, light bulbs, etc.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of automotive experience Must be a team player and communicate/problem solve to achieve department goals Automotive diagnostics and general familiarity with vehicle operating systems desirable Must have a driver's license and a commercially insurable Motor Vehicle Report Ability to lift 50lbs
