QA Automation Engineer
Learn how Proofpoint provides the best features and services to protect our customers, both internal and external, through our services. Implement continuous test mechanisms and suites to ensure on-going service quality for existing and new functionality. Learn new techniques to apply to Proofpoints new technologies. Learn, contribute to, and own the automated test framework with other QA folks and increase service test coverage on an ongoing basis for MIS services. Work closely with team members to ensure correct and complete testing of services iteratively. Learn about and understand how MIS services contribute to the overall company goals/strategy that benefit customers. Telecommuting arrangement available. 40 hours per week.
Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Specific Skills: This position also requires knowledge of and/or experience with (can be gained through education and/or experience): Cloud software and service testing Data structures and algorithms Software engineering practices Java, Bash scripting, Ruby/Python/Perl Testing methodologies in REST API services
