We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with a strong background in healthcare construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting project management activities, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and driving successful project execution. This role requires over three years of experience in construction in either commercial, school, healthcare construction.
Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating healthcare construction projects.
Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
Monitor project progress and provide detailed reports to the Project Manager.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
Review drawings and specifications, identify discrepancies, and propose solutions.
Support procurement activities and maintain accurate material tracking.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Revit.
Familiarity with OSHPD/HCAI requirements or local healthcare regulations.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities.
Strong understanding of construction processes, healthcare compliance, and safety requirements.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with project management tools such as Procore or MS Project.
