Project Engineer

Utilizing experience and creativity provide complete, cost effective, code compliant building and foundation design for commercial, industrial, agricultural and private structures of any shape, size and use. Establish and develop trusted, reliable, and collaborative relationships with customers and team members.

Essential Functions and Duties

• Provide cost effective, code compliant building designs that meet customer specifications.

• Effectively communicate and work well with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and other department teams and personnel.

• Collaboratively work with other team members and customers. Be willing to do what is best, not necessarily how it has been done in the past.

• Continually improve knowledge of products and technical expertise.

• Engineer cost-effective fixes for construction and fabrication errors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• California P.E. license.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum two years of building design or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of metal building design.
• Proficiency with MBS Metal Building Software.
• Experience with RISA-3D, CFS, Tekla, and AutoCAD.

Required Competencies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good engineering judgement and decision making.
• Leadership mentality and ability to work well with others.
• Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Positive contribution toward team projects and team development.
• A strong working knowledge of the CBC, AISC, ASCE7, AISI and ACI codes and standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Fowler, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00/yr. Company benefits unknown for now.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Fowler,CA.
