Employment Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Hybrid — 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

Salary Range: $97,760 - $112,320, based on experience

Location: Long Beach, CA

General Responsibilities: As a Plumbing Design Engineer, you will lead medium to large-scale engineering projects from concept through execution. You'll apply advanced design principles, perform complex calculations and modeling, and prepare construction estimates and specifications. You'll also manage project budgets, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development efforts. Responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing engineering projects independently
• Conducting field investigations and data collection
• Reviewing submittals, producing meeting reports, and leading construction meetings
• Preparing proposals and attending job walks
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure project success
• Traveling to job sites as needed

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• 2-4 years of engineering design experience post-graduation or equivalent professional experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
• Working knowledge of Revit (preferred) and AutoCAD (a plus)
• Familiarity with:
• California Plumbing Code
• National Plumbing Code
• California Energy Code
• HCAI codes, standards, PINS, and CANS
• NFPA-99
