P2S has an exciting opportunity for a Plumbing Engineer with 5+ years of experience designing plumbing systems for new buildings and renovations within the healthcare market—including hospitals, medical office buildings, and support facilities such as central plants. As a Plumbing Engineer, you will lead medium to large-scale healthcare projects from all perspectives—technical, administrative, and financial. You'll apply advanced design principles, perform complex calculations and modeling, and prepare construction estimates and specifications. You'll also manage project budgets, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development efforts.
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) California P.E. or CPD registration (preferred) P.E. registration in other states is a plus
Experience Required 5+ years of plumbing design experience in healthcare facilities Strong understanding of healthcare codes and standards Ability to lead projects from concept through construction Working Knowledge California Plumbing Code National Plumbing Code California Energy Code HCAI codes and standards (strong knowledge preferred) NFPA-99 Microsoft Office Suite Bluebeam Revit AutoCAD (a plus)
