Urgent Hire Patient Services Associate in Burbank, CA Position: Bilingual Patient Services Associate (Spanish/English) Location: Burbank, CA (100% Onsite) Pay: $21/hr Contract to hire: 4-6 months with permanent position available after contract (Based on performance and attendance) Work Environment: Fast Paced Medical Office / Back Office Call Center Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Interviews for this position being held 9/22 - 9/26. Job Description The Patient Services Associate will work in a Medical Call Center and is responsible for assisting patients with inbound calls regarding care coordination, insurance, authorizations, and scheduling appointments. You will be working in a non patient facing role communicating with patients over the phone, email, and live chat. Once you have completed 2-3 weeks of training you will be managing 60+ inbound calls daily.

Must Have Skills / Preferred Experience: Must be bilingual in Spanish and English (Required) Medical Office Experience, not accepting candidates with just dental or chiropractic experience (Required) Call Center experience preferred but not required (Preferred) Insurance verification (Required) Schedule Appointments (Required) Medical Terminology (Required) Customer Service and Phone Skills (Required) Experience managing at minimum 50+ calls daily (Required) Experience with EMR, EHR, or CRM systems for documenting calls and managing Patient Care (Preferred) Additional Skills & Qualifications HMO Insurance, Health Plan knowledge, Patient Services Experience Level 2-3+ years of recent Medical customer service or Medical Office experience is a Must.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
