We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representative to support our client in Oakland. This contract role focuses on promoting and selling premium desserts at farmers markets across the Bay Area on weekends. Responsibilities:

• Represent the company at designated farmers markets, showcasing and selling desserts to customers.
• Build strong relationships with market visitors to increase brand loyalty and generate repeat sales.
• Set up and maintain an attractive, organized booth to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock products as needed to meet customer demand.
• Maximize weekend sales by engaging with customers and promoting product benefits.
• Provide excellent customer service to address inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
• Track and report sales performance to support business growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to improve sales strategies and streamline market operations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Proven ability to maximize sales and meet performance targets.
• Knowledge of food products or experience in farmers markets is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during weekend shifts.
• Physical capability to set up and transport booth equipment and inventory.
• Reliable transportation to travel to various farmers market locations.
• Flexibility to work weekends as required by the role.
