Operations Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join a dynamic manufacturing team in San Clemente, California. This contract to permanent position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about optimizing operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards. The role involves overseeing daily production activities, leading a team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of manufacturing technicians and assemblers to meet production targets and ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement production schedules and assign tasks to optimize resource utilization.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes, address operational challenges, and take corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
  • Uphold stringent quality control standards throughout all stages of production.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering growth and skill enhancement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, deliver constructive feedback, and address employee concerns to maintain a motivated workforce.
  • Maintain detailed production records, including metrics on output, quality, and material usage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering and supply chain, to resolve production challenges and improve processes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and waste elimination.
  • Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular audits.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in manufacturing operations, with a strong ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to address production challenges effectively.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Familiarity with electronic manufacturing processes and quality assurance practices.

  • Capability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
