Job Summary

Supports Camera Manufacturing Operations by developing and maintaining production methods, processes, and sequences for parts, components, and assemblies. Collaborates with design and systems engineering on new product releases. Estimates cycle times, sets time standards, and recommends tooling and process improvements. Maintains records and reporting systems for manufacturing operations.

  • Flexibility – Adapt to a dynamic manufacturing environment, performing multiple roles (Engineer, Inspector, Document Control, Tool Designer, Assembler).
  • Initiative – Take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision and deliver maximum efficiency.
  • Technical Skills – Proficient in using hand tools for delicate electromechanical assembly/disassembly and applying physics principles for failure analysis and root cause investigations.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Manufacturing and processing operations, preferably in infrared vision systems and electrical assemblies.
  • Clean Room Protocol
  • High-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Electromechanical hardware assembly.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to read and follow manufacturing documentation.
  • Proficiency in English (read, write, converse).
  • Experience handling ESD-sensitive hardware.
  • Basic metrology skills (calipers, micrometers, microscopes, multimeters, etc.).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during design, testing, and production oversight activities.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and computer systems.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach in manufacturing environments.
  • Visual acuity to read, schematics, and perform detailed inspections.
  • Tolerance for working in environments with moderate noise, temperature fluctuations, and exposure to manufacturing materials.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection, closed toe shoes.
  • Occasional climbing of stairs or ladders to access equipment or elevated work areas.

Salary Range

$49,300.00-$65,700.000
