Parker Meggitt, a recent addition to Parker Hannifin, is a global leader in the Commercial and Military Aerospace markets, specializing in a wide range of products including fire and smoke detection systems, extinguishing systems, bleed air overheat detection systems, actuators, rudder pedal assemblies, pumps, fuel gauging systems, and high-temperature cables. Located in Simi Valley, CA, this site is within the Fire Safety & Power Systems Division (FSPSD) and is a key supplier in select energy markets, particularly in nuclear gas analyzers and nuclear containment vessel penetration cables. We work directly with some of the largest aerospace companies in the world, including Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, and Lockheed Martin, among others.
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician provides expertise in setting-up and conducting product inspections, product evaluation, creating/updating quality process documentation, and operations support. Ensures high quality processes for Meggitt products/components.
Able to apply expertise in systematic discipline and analytical approach to problem solving. Ability to apply processes and procedures to accomplish tasks. Experience in a manufacturing environment with raw material processing, and assembly. Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint experience. Effective interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion. Effective oral and written communication. High School Diploma/Equivalent and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations. 0 - 3 years of relevant experience.
This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
Competitive Compensation + Pay Range: $29.8/hr to $49.65/hr + Participation in Annual Incentive Program
