Description: Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead projects from initiation to completion, supporting quality and delivery goals. This role collaborates cross-functionally and provides daily support to the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical reviews of drawings and specifications.
• Develop bills of materials, manufacturing methods, and visual work instructions.
• Prepare costing estimates for new and repeat business.
• Analyze completed jobs to optimize costs and improve productivity.
• Design specialized tooling and fixturing for manufacturing and inspection.
• Monitor job schedules and milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and inspection teams to ensure product quality and performance.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action reporting.
• Provide training to team members as needed.

Top Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, ideally in aerospace/defense and new product introduction (NPI) environments. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience. Hands-on expertise with mechanical and electro-mechanical products. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and 3D models (SolidWorks) and 2D drawings (AutoCAD). Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, assembly, and chemical processing. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Commitment to meeting internal and customer deadlines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
