Manufacturing Associate

Join a dynamic and technology-focused team as a Manufacturing Associate I, responsible for producing standard and custom medical devices. This role involves operating Zirconia Milling Machines and adhering to work instructions and company policies in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups and operate 5+ milling machines.
• Load raw materials and make necessary adjustments on the machines.
• Conduct basic maintenance on the machines.
• Follow department SOPs and work instructions while adhering to customer standards.
• Visually inspect product quality and escalate issues as necessary.
• Identify and recommend disposition of defective items for rework or scrap.
• Understand the product manufacturing process from initial steps through final inspection.
• Complete all necessary documentation and training.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area, use appropriate PPE, and adhere to safety standards.
• Cross-train in one or more areas of manufacturing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operating, quality control, and cleanroom environments.
• Knowledge of production, assembly, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to operate machines and follow SOPs.
• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience of at least 6 months in a controlled environment.
• Exposure to machine operation including setup, operation, and basic maintenance.
• Ability to read SOPs and willingness to learn and be coachable.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to use basic hand tools.
• Reliability and good attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment

The work environment is structured for collaboration with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role operates Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm in the Zirconia Milling department.

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
