In this role, you will partner with local media leaders to provide practical HR guidance and ensure compliance with employment laws. You will serve as a trusted advisor on employee and labor relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. You will collaborate with HR colleagues and business leaders to help maintain a positive work environment, ensure compliance with employment laws, and deliver on HR initiatives that support business needs.
You are an experienced and proactive HR professional with a solid generalist background and the ability to balance employee advocacy with business priorities. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are detail oriented, and provide practical, business-focused HR solutions to both managers and employees. You excel at building strong relationships, offering pragmatic guidance, and ensuring alignment with company values and compliance standards. You bring a deep understanding of California and other West Coast employment laws and apply it to foster positive, productive workplace relationships.
