The maintenance engineer will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of production equipment and systems within a herbs and vegetable processing plant. This position requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical industrial equipment and machinery, as well as ammonia/refrigeration systems. Experience in fabrication and welding is also a plus.

The position involves working on a graveyard shift, with an initial training period on the day shift. Overtime is required and typically ranges from 7-18% annually. Days and shifts vary, with day shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., swing shifts from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and graveyard shifts from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Days off are scheduled accordingly.

Pay and Benefits
