Paramount Streaming is seeking a Machine Learning Engineering Intern to support our Applied Intelligence Group. The Applied Intelligence Group (AIG) is responsible for the future state Engagement Engine which includes supporting personalization and search across Paramount+ and Pluto TV. The AIG team builds and delivers online and offline personalization as well as smart video solutions. We work closely with our fellow backend engineering teams, data teams, programming and curation, product and marketing. Our work has a direct impact on the consumer experience. We work on productionalizing state of the art ML systems to support experiences on our streaming platforms.
- Approx 50% Design and develop highly scalable and reliable machine learning solutions to improve user experience on a specific product feature
- Approx 20% Design and testing a modeling solution or integration
- Approx 30% Participate in design and code reviews
Effective communication is critical as this is a distributed team
- Current undergrad or master's student working to obtain their degree in Software Engineering or Machine Learning Engineering or Applied Math at a university in the United States.
- Experience working with Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch, SQL and API work.
Internships are available to students who will be Seniors or Masters students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities. You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June. Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program. Note: Paramount does not provide financial relocation support or housing stipends. Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional). Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis. Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.
