Lab Support Technician
We are seeking a Lab Support Technician to join our Lab and Production Services team. In this role, you'll work hands-on in a dynamic laboratory environment, supporting critical research functions and helping scientists focus on what they do best—science.
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate, clean, and maintain lab equipment (balances, pH meters, incubators)
- Prepare buffers, media, and reagents
- Manage lab inventory and supply chain tasks
- Perform glassware washing, autoclaving, and freezer cleaning
- Support hazardous waste disposal and lab safety practices
- Maintain accurate lab records and electronic documentation
- Follow lean/5S protocols and help optimize lab workflows
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Associate's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotech, or related field (required)
- Experience: 1+ years in a research, clinical, or GxP lab setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with lab safety, chemical hygiene, and equipment calibration
- Knowledge of scientific products and services is a plus
