Overview: We are seeking a motivated Junior Stationary Engineer to join our Facilities team. This position provides opportunities to develop your technical skillset, operate and maintain sophisticated equipment, and grow your career within a dynamic environment. Under the direction of the Manager of Plant Engineering, you will operate, monitor, adjust, repair, and maintain machinery used for electric power generation and distribution, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Strong organizational skills; able to multi-task, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and procedural accuracy. Mechanical aptitude and experience using a variety of tools and machinery. Understanding of equipment operation and interrelations, with troubleshooting capabilities. Strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with staff and management.
Minimum requirements (one of the following): High school diploma or GED AND Technical/trade school degree or certificate in power/electrical plant maintenance (degree preferred), OR Military/Merchant Marine experience in industrial power plant operations, OR Two years' experience as an industrial power plant operator or facilities technician, OR Equivalent combination of education and training
Military or Merchant Marine power generation/distribution experience is a plus. Proficiency with PCs and software (Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word). Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Eligibility for promotion to Stationary Engineer after a minimum of 2 years, demonstrated expertise in electrical infrastructure, system operations, and consistent high performance.
