Responsibilities: Responsibility includes creation and execution of tests which correlate with usage of the Internet of Vehicle system. Closely interact with Product Owners, Solution/Systems Architects, Development Team, as well as business team. Creation of descriptive and precise test cases, which include test instructions, data setup and vehicle configuration according to specific requirements, will be critical to your and our success. Design test cases and test plans traceably to SW requirements. Execute and analyze manual/automated tests across software development lifecycle (SDLC). Utilize HIL test benches and participate in Vehicle-In-Loop testing sessions. Make sure that execution status and results are tracked utilizing the appropriate tools. Create, maintain and track defects. Highlight blocking defects and issues in time. Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with stakeholders to drive towards root cause identification and resolution. Verify and close out defects, relevant Change Requests prior to release. Develop automation scripts using multiple technologies. Utilize multiple automation techniques across multiple infrastructure environments. Leverage big data to identify product improvement opportunities and to improve test cases. Telecommuting is allowed.
Qualifications: This position requires a master's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, data science or closely related field plus 1 year of work experience in the job offered or related occupation. Special requirements: Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time." Required expertise/knowledge includes: performing unit, system integration, system, security, safety or performance testing. Effectively and efficiently connect and collaborate with peers, development team, product owners, solution architects and other subject matter specialists. Maintain safety, security and privacy standards in all areas of responsibility. Linux shell scripting and Android environment to support troubleshooting skills along with the ability to breakdown complex issues. SDLC and Quality Assurance methodologies, such as continuous integration environment. Ability to describe observed scenarios and provide supporting logs for evidence.
Salary: $85,051 - $150,000/year
Travel Requirements: Periodic remote factory support to OTA update manufactured vehicles.
