In-House Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated In-House Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team and help us maintain our quality standards in commercial refrigeration/HVAC services. The In-House Technical Support Specialist will be a critical member of our team, by leading and supporting our field technicians through real-time troubleshooting and root cause analysis. This role combines technical expertise in commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems with strong field-tech communication, and customer service skills. This would be an onsite/office position focused on handling various incoming calls from service techs- servicing areas across California. The ideal candidate will serve as the operational backbone of our service teams- handling any incoming calls related to service part issues, refrigeration systems and technical roadblocks.

What You'll Do:

  • Support technicians in the field with troubleshooting guidance repair and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and HVAC units.
  • Act as a technical escalation point between customers, technicians, and project managers for complex refrigeration and electrical service issues.
  • Support dispatch operations with repair estimates and technical advice to meet customer deadlines and service SLAs.
  • Observe and report variances on compliance with company standards, safety, and quality expectations.
  • Mentor and train service technicians on technical procedures, safety practices, and customer interaction.
  • Partner with the Training Facility to support field training, service repair and OSHA education.
  • Ensure service calls are documented accurately in company software, including issue details, time of incident, on-site resolution method and any customer communication.
