Electromechanical Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our team, working from 7 am to 3:30 pm. The role involves assembling electronic components and sub-assemblies, performing soldering tasks, and following company procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to understand assembly instructions.
• Assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies from individual parts.
• Complete necessary paperwork for assembly orders.
• Perform surface-mount and through-hole soldering on printed circuit boards.
• Trim, clip, crimp, and tin wires and leads.
• Properly label finished products.
• Fabricate, test, and troubleshoot electrical cables, harnesses, and electronic components.
• Build harnesses and cables.
• Assemble, fabricate, and inspect complex box builds.
• Integrate electrical and mechanical assemblies.
• Install, mount, fasten, align, and adjust parts, components, wiring, and harnesses.
• Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position, solder, and clean components on printed circuit boards.
• Replace defective components and repair or overhaul older assemblies.

Essential Skills

• Understanding and reading blueprints.
• Proficiency in soldering, both surface-mount and through-hole.
• Experience in electronic assembly and using hand tools.
• Knowledge of wiring and working with printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Ability to crimp and handle electro-mechanical tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with ITAR compliance.

This role is based in a very clean manufacturing environment, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be working with both automatic and semi-automatic machines, as well as hand and small power tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
