HR Coordinator
We are seeking a self-motivated HR Coordinator to join our team and support a wide range of human resources functions. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of HR experience, a proactive mindset, and the ability to handle a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. Light recruiting experience is preferred. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in office 2 days remote in the central San Diego area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, employee records, and benefits administration
- Support recruitment efforts: posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications
- Maintain HRIS data accuracy and assist with reporting needs
- Help with employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and compliance tasks
- Act as a point of contact for staff HR-related questions with professionalism and confidentiality
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience (non-profit experience a plus)
- Familiarity with recruiting processes and applicant tracking systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative
