Human Resources Manager

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Pasadena, California. This Contract-to-continuing position offers a dynamic work environment where you will play a key role in managing HR operations and collaborating with various stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for employees.
  • Oversee employee compensation adjustments, including salary increases, bonuses, and severance packages.
  • Administer wage garnishments, liens, and other related documentation in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Address employee relations issues by partnering with supervisors, company leadership, and legal counsel.
  • Respond to employment verification requests while maintaining adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain, update, and secure employee records to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
  • Review and revise the Employee Handbook, collaborating with supervisors and legal counsel to reflect current policies.
  • Ensure all HR policies and procedures align with applicable labor laws and organizational standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Human Resources Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in working with payroll processes and managing legal documentation.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, ownership, and external legal counsel.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with employee relations, benefits administration, and onboarding processes.
