Human Resources Coordinator
The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join the growing Human Resources team. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating memorable employee experiences by assisting with talent acquisition, onboarding, and general HR duties. We are looking for someone who has a customer service mindset with a meticulous eye for detail to ensure we are providing the best service to our prospective and current employees.
Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Post job openings on job boards, company website, and other media platforms. Screen resumes and applications, and schedule interviews. Communicate with candidates regarding interview logistics and application status. Assist with reference checks, background checks, and employment verifications. Create offer letters and other candidate offer packages Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and reports through Workable.
- HR Administration and Support: Assist with onboarding processes for new hires, including paperwork, orientation scheduling, and setting up employee files. Help maintain and update employee records, HRIS database (Paylocity), and internal documents. Answer basic employee inquiries. Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement initiatives/events with the Human Resources team. Assist with employment verifications for internal team members. Prepare HR-related reports and documentation as needed. Support in ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. Provide administrative support to HR leadership and help with special projects.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent education in the HR field HR-adjacent (customer service, onboarding), or 1-2 years of HR experience Experience working in an office setting Excellent communication skills and customer-focus attitude (internal employees) Detail-oriented mindset and ability to maintain detailed documentation Technical aptitude: ability to work in multiple technical systems (Microsoft Suite, Workable, Paylocity, other systems as needed) Ability to think critically and improve HR processes to match company growth and needs
