Hr Coordinator

A growing engineering and technical services firm in Carlsbad is seeking an HR Coordinator to support daily HR operations across a diverse, project-driven workforce. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being highly organized, process-oriented, and actively involved in the execution of HR programs. You will play a key role in keeping HR functions running smoothly while serving as a dependable resource for employees and managers alike. This position offers broad exposure to HR administration, recruiting coordination, compliance tracking, and employee support in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files
• Schedule interviews and support recruiting logistics
• Assist with benefits administration and employee enrollment
• Track certifications, training, and compliance documentation
• Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures
• Prepare HR reports related to headcount, turnover, and compliance

Requirements

• 2–4 years of HR coordination or HR administrative experience
• Experience supporting technical, engineering, or professional services environments preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR best practices
• Professional communication skills and discretion
