HR Coordinator

We are looking for a meticulous and organized HR Coordinator to join our team in Gardena, California. This is a contract position where you will play a key role in managing essential human resources processes, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate records. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Input and manage new employee documentation, including safety and sexual harassment training records.
• Update and maintain employee information such as address changes, tax form adjustments, and withholding updates.
• Organize and oversee employee files to ensure accurate and secure record keeping.
• Handle benefit payment processing, including monthly healthcare contributions.
• Compile and prepare detailed census spreadsheets for employee fee reporting.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures while handling sensitive employee data.
• Assist with onboarding processes and background checks to support new team members.
• Utilize HRIS systems to maintain and update employee records.
• Monitor HR compliance and address any discrepancies promptly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in human resources or administrative roles, ideally with 3+ years of experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the use of formulas and pivot tables.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills for managing sensitive data.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR compliance practices.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Solid understanding of onboarding processes and related procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
