Working within back end engineers and scientists, you'll build scalable and performant user interfaces with reusable frontend components and innovative solutions that define the future of digital entertainment delivery.
Technical Requirements: • Expert-level experience with modern frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, CSS-in-JS) • Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization and scalability • Experience with state management, component architecture, and micro-frontend approaches • Knowledge of modern build systems, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines • Understanding of server-side rendering and progressive enhancement • Experience with responsive design and cross-platform compatibility
Key job responsibilities This role combines strategic frontend engineering leadership with global consumer impact: • Drive strategic decision-making on critical UI feature development, from design through implementation to deployment • Design and implement scalable, reusable frontend components for multiple applications while solving complex UI challenges • Lead technical decisions around frontend architecture, including framework selection, build systems, and rendering strategies • Work closely with UX designers, product managers to create intuitive, high-performance user experiences • Collaborate with world-class engineering and science teams to deliver GenAI powered initiatives • Mentor other frontend engineers and establish development best practices while fostering a frontend engineering community • Maintain and raise the technical bar across all frontend development • Drive consumer-facing impact at global scale while balancing technical excellence with user experience
A day in the life As a Frontend Engineer in the Content and Data Platform org, you'll tackle complex UI challenges at massive scale. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build features that help internal customer to improve their daily operations with GenAI technologies and eventually benefit the customers discover and access content across different devices and platforms. You'll be responsible for delivering working frontend systems that are performant, maintainable, and secure, while managing ambiguity in a fast-paced environment where development cycles are measured in weeks, not quarters.

Basic Qualifications - 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience - 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience - Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react Preferred Qualifications - 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience - Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
