Starting Hourly Rate: $20.00 USD per hour

Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. The Food & Beverage team ensures product is fresh, in stock, available, and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They lead food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

As a Food Service Expert, you will:

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest's needs over task.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage standards and Pizza Hut brand standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing and storing reserve product.
• Produce, package and label items to specifications on production cards and follow specific department routines.
• Maintain a neat, clean and inviting dining area for guests throughout shift.
• Make changes to salesfloor merchandise displays.
• Always be aware of current promotions in Café and Pizza Hut.
• Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the food service space as outlined in best practices.
• Follow proper perishable inventory procedures to ensure an accurate recording of inventory.
• Follow all food safety requirements including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store.
• Complete Pizza Hut training requirements and certifications.
• Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner at all times.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way.
• Thank guests and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business.
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and follow a multi-step process.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.

• Accurately handle cash register operations.
• Climb up and down ladders.
• Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely.
• Ability to work in an environment that could range from 34°F to -10°F.
• Ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present.
• Flexible work schedule.
• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
