Firmware/Algorithm Engineer
Insight Global is looking for a Firmware/Algorithm Engineer to work for one of the largest social networking companies in the world. This individual will work within the Reality Labs organization which brings people around the world together through next generation Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality. The main function of an algorithm developer is to design and implement algorithms for smart glass sensors (Touch, Proximity, IMU).
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement algorithms to process smart glass sensor raw input
- Design statistical models / Test SW to evaluate algorithm performance
- Synthesize algorithm needs and designs for customer requirements.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues found with software
- Review software (C) implementation
Pay range: $80-87/hr

Skills and Requirements:
- Experience with human interface sensor algorithm development
- Experience with C/C++
- Experience with Real Time Operating system code development
- Experience with machine learning and data analysis language (MATLAB, Python, R)
- Ability to manage projects autonomously.
- Experience in UI design and development for big data visualization
