Failure Analysis Engineer

This role is a quality engineering position focused on understanding the root cause of product testing failures. The emphasis is on electrical and electronics analysis using specialized equipment such as oscilloscopes and X-ray CT scanners. Responsibilities include:

• Conduct detailed failure analysis to determine the root cause of product testing failures.
• Utilize specialized equipment like oscilloscopes and X-ray CT scanners for electronics analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality based on analysis findings.
• Document and communicate analysis results and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with a focus on failure analysis or quality engineering.
• Proficiency in using oscilloscopes and X-ray CT scanners for electronics analysis.
• Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and quality control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• An engineering degree is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering is advantageous.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of San Mateo, California.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
