 
                                                
                                            The Engineering Technician will follow established SOPs, protocols, and work instructions to safely and accurately carry out chemical tests and material treatments. The role involves preparing chemical solutions and performing surface preparation using solvents, acids, bases, and other reagents. You will execute electrochemical processing steps such as plating, etching, and other wet chemistry techniques. Collecting experimental data, preparing reports, and communicating results to team members are key components of this position. Additionally, maintaining organization and cleanliness in the work area while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards is crucial. You will also be responsible for safely handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous chemicals and waste streams in accordance with regulatory requirements.

This position is onsite in Berkeley and requires candidates to be within a 45-minute commute. The company is a start-up with additional sites in Berkeley and Santa Clara. The work environment encourages innovation and collaboration, with a focus on safety and efficiency in chemical processing.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
