Engineering Electronic Technician

As an Engineering Electronic Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling prototype and production PC Boards for space applications and defense programs. You will be responsible for soldering tasks, both through-hole and surface mount, and performing PCB assembly based on blueprints, schematics, and engineering sketches.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble prototype and production PC Boards for space and defense applications.
• Perform soldering tasks, including through-hole and surface mount techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Conduct repair and rework under J Standard specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine prototypes.
• Build, troubleshoot, test, and reassemble components adhering to space requirements.
• Maintain detailed documentation throughout the assembly process.

Essential Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in soldering, including through-hole and surface mount techniques.
• 3+ years of experience in assembly for space, defense, or aerospace products.
• Proficiency in interpreting assembly and engineering drawings.
• Experience with J Standard, NASA Standard, and IPC certifications 610, 620.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Familiarity with space flight hardware and electronics.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
