Skyworks is looking for a temporary Engineering Technician to work in our Irvine, California Prototype Build Lab. This position requires a self-motivated team player with a strong desire to succeed in a fast paced semiconductor assembly prototype operation. Duties will include assembly operations, programming and troubleshooting on processes ranging from SMT to Sputtering. This temporary position is for 3rd shift. The work hours will be Monday thru Friday, 10:30pm to 7am.
Requirements: Applicants need to be familiar with assembly equipment such as: solder screen printing, SMT placement machines, die attach equipment, Gold Wire Ball Bonders, compression auto mold, laser marking, surface grinding, saw singulation and sputtering equipment. Candidates will need to have the ability to run and operate these various semiconductor assembly equipment. In addition they should have the ability to do minor machine maintenance, trouble shooting and minor machine preventative maintenance. The capability to use various hand tools, measuring tools, DVMs, ohm meters and tweezers is required as well as the ability to read and analyze schematics, wire bond diagrams and drawings. Candidates should have ample knowledge and ability on use Microsoft Office - MS Word, Power Point and Excel for reporting tasks. Position requires an Associates degree (or equivalent years of experience) and 4 years of experience.
Associate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is desired. Skyworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
