Your day-to-day / What we are expecting from you / Your responsibilities:
- Materials & Processes: Review incoming lab requests, determine test requirements and assign appropriate charge number. Independently set-up and operate all lab equipment including: precision gauging equipment, microhardness, rockwell hardness, tensile testing, emission spectroscopy, and laboratory heat treating. Utilize precision gauging equipment, micrometers, dial indicators, surface plate, and microscopes. Perform post test analysis and prepare test reports based on specification requirements. Demonstrate a working knowledge of materials & processes specifications.
- Dynamics: Devise, improvise, set-up and trouble shoot digital sine/random, shock test equipment including: accelerometer hook ups, centrifuge, oscilloscopes, hookups, oscillographs and x-y plotters. Perform post test disassembly and assist in analysis. Interpret comprehensive data and prepare accurate activity reports on which decisions will be based. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Mil-Std-810 with respect to dynamic testing. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of electronics, and environmental testing of fuel, hydraulic, and pneumatic component parts.
- Electronic: Devise, improvise, and trouble shoot electronic circuits and instrumentation set-ups including oscilloscopes, oscillographs, x-y recorders, and other standard lab equipment. Demonstrated ability to proficiently set-up and operate data acquisition computers, process control systems, micro processor applications, and automatic test equipment. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of electronic principles.
- Mechanical: Assemble component parts based on assembly drawings. Independently fabricate, design, set-up and trouble shoot experimental or limited run assembly and/or test activities on complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and limited electronic set-ups. Projects are highly technical presenting new processes and changing requirements. Interpret acceptance, qualification and R&D test procedures. Perform engineering, development, and quality tests, data acquisition reduction, post test disassembly and assist in analysis. Demonstrate ability to operate lab equipment including: recording oscillographs, oscilloscopes, flow measuring equipment, and computerized test systems where applicable.
Who we are looking for: Five years related experience, trade or military training, or good understanding and demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings, sketches, schematics and procedures. Basic PC and electronic console skills where applicable. Ability to perform mathematical calculations. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Competitive Compensation:
- Pay Range: $27.09/hr to $45.15/hr
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program
