We are actively recruiting a highly qualified Engineering Manager for the Apple Cloud Services Engineering team. The Engineering Manager will lead the development and delivery of next-generation user experience platforms.

We're looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager with a strong background in software engineering to lead development efforts, architect scalable solutions, and drive technical innovation across our infrastructure platform. In this critical role, you'll manage a high-performing team of engineers focused on advancing our foundational services, with knowledge of Kubernetes being a significant plus. You'll work closely with engineering and product leadership to define our multi-cloud infrastructure strategy, build next-generation products and ensure successful implementation across environments. The ideal candidate has proven experience leading engineering teams, a track record of delivering systems at scale, and deep expertise in distributed software architecture; familiarity with Kubernetes and artificial intelligence is a bonus. You'll own the strategy, and execution of platform initiatives—aligning technical goals with business outcomes to deliver high-impact solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 YOE of leading, mentoring, and growing a high-performing team of engineers and cloud infrastructure professionals.
• Defined and executed the K8s experience strategy aligned with business objectives and industry trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business units) to integrate K8s solutions into company products and services.
• Ensure alignment between Kubernetes architecture and cloud-native applications.
• Ensure the quality, robustness, and scalability of the systems.
• Drive the hiring and development of talent to build a strong, cohesive team.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Go (Golang).
• Design and build scalable, reliable, and secure APIs for integration with third-party systems and internal tools.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and adherence to coding best practices.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages
• Proficiency highly scalable system design
• Kubernetes and Distributed compute systems knowledge is a plus.
