Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Test Engineer to join their team. As a Test Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the development and validation of cutting-edge electronic platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to work collaboratively.
Location: San Carlos, CA (Will relocate to Foster City, CA towards the end of Q3)
Pay Range: $83
Build and release test solutions for early bring-up activities. Work cross-functionally to implement the correct test coverage and process across all phases of manufacturing (PCBA, module, system, vehicle). Support the test and validation of prototype designs. Establish best practices and drive continuous improvement for improving test execution, test runtime, and yield.
BS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent technical degree. 6-8 years of industry experience. Hands-on experience testing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software systems. Knowledge of manufacturing and testing electronic assemblies; knowledge of NPI testing and validation is a strong plus. Strong proficiency in git, python, and shell (bash) scripting; experience with other programming languages such as C++ is beneficial.
