Electrical Engineer Opportunity

Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive and transportation industry, is seeking an electrical engineer to join their team. As an electrical engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting vehicle engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the job?

• Drive the design for serviceability to ensure electrical and electronic components are easy to maintain and repair.
• Evaluate electronic controls for part design interchangeability, hardware/firmware/software compatibility, and support for spare parts and data file releases.
• Develop and validate diagnostic test tools for reporting codes, messages, alerts, and control functions for various controllers.
• Create standardized technical requirements for controller programming tools and processes.
• Support wiring system serviceability, schematic development, and collaborate with engineering teams to integrate components and systems.

What's needed?

• Proven experience in electrical engineering within product design, manufacturing, or service environments.
• Practical diagnostic experience and fieldwork knowledge.
• Ability to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and communication networking protocols.
• Degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or automotive technology with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
