Responsibilities:

• Performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
• Assisting with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
• Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
• Encouraging self-help activities
• Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
• Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external

Additional Job Information:

• Requirements: 6 months of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors. Must have DSP1 and DSP 2 First Aid and CPR Certified High school Diploma
• Schedule: Sun-Thurs 6AM-2PM
• Salary Range: USD $28.00 / Hour
