Our client, an automotive engineering leader, is seeking a design engineer to join their team. As a design engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the vehicle systems team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent time management, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Santa Clarita, CA
Pay Range: $35.00/hr – $48.00/hr
Design and develop automotive components and systems (mechanical/electrical). Create and support 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings. Coordinate prototype and production manufacturing activities. Perform design evaluations and analysis for quality and cost efficiency. Manage scheduling and reporting for design projects.
BS in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in automotive design. 2–5 years of experience in electrical/mechanical system design. Proficiency in CAD software (any package). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and codes. Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
