Bilingual Spanish Customer Service Representative

Robert Half is partnering with our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization, to hire a Bilingual Spanish Customer Service Representative. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a call center environment and is passionate about helping others through social services. You will be the first point of contact for community members seeking resources, assistance, and support, delivering compassionate and professional service in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls from clients seeking assistance, ensuring each interaction is empathetic and solution-focused.
  • Communicate clearly and fluently in both English and Spanish to provide information, answer questions, and connect clients to appropriate resources.
  • Assess client needs, offer referrals, and ensure accurate documentation in the organization's database.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with organization policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about community programs and services.

Requirements Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service; call center experience highly preferred.
  • Background in social services, nonprofit, or community-based work is a plus.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced call center environment.

Schedule & Work Environment

First 6 months onsite for training, mentorship, and integration. Hybrid schedule (3 days remote / 2 days onsite) after training period. Structured call center environment with performance metrics.
