The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for the position of Architecture and Engineering Supervisor for Facilities Services. Under the direction of the Building Official, the Architecture/Engineering Supervisor for Quality Assurance is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day functions and activities of the Quality Assurance team. Incumbent is responsible for supervising a team of architects and engineers, leading design reviews of new courthouse facilities and facility modification projects, developing and maintaining quality assurance policies and procedures, developing and applying design standards for building equipment and building systems, program development, training, and allocating resources for assigned capital and facility modification projects. The incumbent is a California Building Code expert who manages the peer review process for code conformance in design and construction projects. The incumbent has experience in personnel management over licensed and specialized personnel. The incumbent has knowledge and experience of whole building design and construction including comprehensive architectural and engineering disciplines. Incumbent is a California licensed architect or engineer with prior project management and supervisory experience.
The Judicial Council of California is the policy setting body for the state court system and has constitutionally conferred statewide rule-making authority.
