Facilities Engineer I - Full Time (harrah's Laughlin)

We're looking for a skilled, reliable Engineer I to support the maintenance and operation of major fixed-asset equipment throughout the property. This role is essential to ensuring our facilities remain safe, efficient, and fully operational. How You Will Create the Extraordinary

• Complete work orders related to the maintenance and operation of major physical and mechanical equipment
• Maintain working knowledge of property systems, including:
• Boilers, chillers, pumps, and air handlers
• Plumbing distribution and fire protection systems
• Electrical distribution systems, motors, and controls (electric and pneumatic)
• Kitchen and restaurant equipment
• Mechanical and non-mechanical systems
• Compressors, refrigeration units, and air-conditioning equipment
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed, including work orders, logs, and reports
• Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA guidelines
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Director of Facility Operations
• Deliver Caesars Entertainment's Family-Style Service to all guests and team members

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1–3 years of related experience in engineering, maintenance, or a similar field
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and write reports, lists, memos, and basic business correspondence
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Familiarity with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations

• Must possess and maintain applicable licenses, if required
• OSHA Certification required
• Trade certifications preferred
