Test Engineering Mechanical Intern - Summer 2026

Our Student Program provides amazing opportunities to develop functional job skills and gain real-world experience and expertise. We offer spring, fall and year-round internships and co-ops in fields across the company, including engineering, finance, and business development. We are seeking a Summer Intern to join our Mechanical Test Engineering Team.

Responsibilities:

• Designing specialized tooling
• Generating test procedures
• Supporting testing in the lab
• Develop test plans and procedures
• Design of specialized tooling/fixtures/equipment
• Assist technicians as required to install and prepare for test
• Collect test data, data reduction and generate test reports at test completion

Qualifications:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Current sophomore or above pursuing a degree in either mechanical, or aerospace engineering

EHS/Environmental Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, listen to, and interpret instructions, operate tools and/or machinery with hands and arms and remain stationary for extended periods of the time. The employee will use protective equipment to work with chemicals, move between workstations, reach, and replace equipment, and move items weighing up to 25 lbs. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $45,900 - $91,900
