CACI is seeking an Enterprise Support Services (ESS) Service Owner (SO) to join the Air Force DCGS Management Center (AF-DMC) in the Hampton Roads Virginia area. DMC supports Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) providing intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance products to US warfighters worldwide.

Responsibilities

Leads, directs, provides strategic advice, and reviews the work of a team in accomplishing operational plans and broadly defined projects or objectives within the Enterprise Services area for multiple teams providing shared service.

Provides strategic technical guidance and oversees DMC activities pertaining to integration, installation, operations and maintenance, and disposal of Enterprise Services software assets in the DCGS Test and Operational Enterprise.

Sets policy, goals, and objectives for the Enterprise Services Team and provides guidance to achieve positive direct impact on short-term operational status and mid-term modernization efforts of the AF DCGS Test and Operational Enterprises.

Develops new processes and standards in support of DMC strategy.

Responsible for improvement of processes, systems, or products to enhance performance; demonstrates technical innovation in supporting business objectives that impact multiple departments.

Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.

Manages technical task orders for multiple projects across technology, data, and application domains.

Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function, which may include external customers or vendors depending upon the job function.

Explains policies, practices, and procedures of the job to others within the organization. May work to justify and gain cooperation of other parties on practices, policies, and procedures. Often requires ability to influence others outside of own job area on policies, practices, and procedures.

Typically, has hiring, firing, promotion, and reward authority or ability to recommend and influence decisions within own area, in accordance with manager review and approval.

Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within one job area. Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.

Issues faced are numerous and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation to understand the problem.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, system services, and system administration of various O/S platforms (including Windows & RHEL).
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
  • Strong critical thinking, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience working in IT operations.
  • Strong non-verbal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to direct and guide large team of technicians and subordinate managers.
  • Ability to identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions.

Desired

  • Experience in integrating and testing AF DCGS weapon system upgrades.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certified.
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
