Position Overview: We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineering Intern to join our innovative team, where you will play a vital role in supporting Quality Assurance engineering projects and enhancing operational excellence.

Location: On-site in Mount Vernon, IN

Your Day to Day as a Quality Assurance Engineer Intern:

  • Improve ISO-9000 quality system procedures and work instructions.
  • Assist with supplier quality/oversight activities.
  • Support supplier quality and system audits.
  • Aid inspection personnel resolving quality issues and non-conformities.
  • Participate in projects that involve data analysis and trending of quality data.
  • Participate in corrective action resolution processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled full time in a Manufacturing, Mechanical, or other engineering or technical discipline program.
  • Must have enough credits to be at least at sophomore status
  • Prior internship experience is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in fundamental computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong technical problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internships and/or experience performing Quality related activities in a heavy manufacturing environment is preferred.

Pay: $28.59/hr - $29.83/hr

The starting hourly rate for this position in Indiana (US-IN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $28.59/hr and $29.83/hr per hour. The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
