  • Free standard OnePass membership

  • We're genuinely invested in your career and no matter where you start with us, that pathway is yours to build

We are looking for a Hardware Support Team Lead to join our Bunnings Technology team here in Victoria.

About The Role

Technology at Bunnings quietly powers every store, every team member and every customer experience - and this role sits right at the heart of it. As our Hardware Support Team Lead, you'll guide a team that keeps thousands of devices, registers and peripherals running smoothly across our network.

This is a people‑first leadership role where your ability to motivate, coach and bring others along matters just as much as your technical know‑how. If you are an experienced leader and enjoy creating clarity, momentum and pride in great service, this is a chance to build on where you've come from while stepping into a role with genuine scale and impact.

You'll join a supportive, collaborative technology group that believes in learning together, backing each other and inspiring you to give it a red hot go - even when the work is complex or fast‑moving.

What's Involved

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of hardware support specialists, creating a positive, accountable and high‑performing environment
  • Set clear priorities and provide guidance as your team supports store‑based hardware, devices and peripherals across the business
  • Shape how hardware support is delivered by improving processes, lifting service quality and simplifying the experience for store teams
  • Partner with stakeholders across technology, operations and vendors to plan hardware rollouts, refreshes and improvements
  • Use data, trends and feedback to continuously improve service performance and customer satisfaction
  • Balance day‑to‑day leadership with longer‑term planning, helping your team grow capability while meeting business needs

You won't be expected to know everything from day one. We're open to teaching the specific systems, tools and processes - what matters most is how you lead and how you support others to succeed.

About You

You're someone who enjoys leading people and bringing structure to complexity. You've already spent time in a leadership role and know what it takes to motivate a team, manage priorities and handle challenges with calm and clarity.

You're comfortable in a technology environment - whether through hands‑on experience, study or a combination of both - and you're curious about how technology can better support people on the ground. You communicate clearly, build trust easily and enjoy working closely with others to get the best outcome.

Most importantly, you care about your team. You invest in their development, encourage learning and create a space where people feel supported to try, learn and improve together.

What You'll Need

  • At least 2 years' proven experience leading and developing a team
  • A background in technology - through experience, education or both - with a willingness to learn new systems and tools
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A customer‑focused mindset with an eye for quality, consistency and continuous improvement
  • Confidence juggling priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment

Ready to lead a team that keeps Bunnings moving? Apply now and be part of a role where your leadership makes a real difference - every single day.
