Right now, Bumble Engineering is undergoing one of the most transformative moments in our history. We're rebuilding our platform into Bumble 2.0, moving to a modern technology stack on AWS that will give us the speed, flexibility, and scale to support the next generation of growth. Alongside that, we're embracing AI as a creative tool - using it to drive engineering efficiency, optimize workflows, and unlock new possibilities for building safe, personalized, and meaningful experiences.
As a Software Engineering Intern, you'll get hands-on exposure to this transformation. You'll work with experienced engineers and cross-functional partners, contribute to both backend systems and user-facing features, and see how large-scale applications are designed, built, and evolved in real-time. This isn't just about learning the basics - it's about being part of a team that's reimagining what the future of social connection looks like.

About Us
Bumble Inc. is the parent company of Bumble, Badoo, Bumble For Friends, and Geneva. The Bumble platform enables people to build healthy and equitable relationships, through Kind Connections. Founded by Whitney Wolfe Herd in 2014, Bumble was one of the first dating apps built with women at the center and connects people across dating (Bumble Date), friendship (Bumble For Friends) and professional networking (Bumble Bizz). Badoo, which was founded in 2006, is one of the pioneers of web and mobile dating products. Bumble For Friends is a friendship app where people in all stages of life can meet people nearby and create meaningful platonic connections. Geneva is a group and community app for people to connect based on shared interests.
